Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of relocation services provided by PN Writers / Writer Relocations ("the company"). By booking a move with us, you agree to these terms.

Service Booking

All bookings are confirmed after a pre-move survey and written quote. An enquiry form submission or phone call does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed when you accept the written quote and an advance payment or written confirmation is received by the relevant branch.

Pricing and Quotes

Quotes are provided based on the items surveyed, route, and services selected. The quoted price is fixed for the scope of work agreed. Changes to the item list, destination, or services after the quote is issued may require a revised quote. We do not add charges on delivery day without prior communication and agreement.

Customer Responsibilities

• Ensure all items to be moved are declared during the survey
• Secure necessary approvals from building societies for move-out and move-in
• Ensure the destination address is accessible to the transport vehicle
• Remove or separately store any items not included in the move scope
• Be present (or have a representative present) at pickup and delivery

Liability for Goods

We take reasonable care in packing and transporting goods. Our liability in case of damage is limited to goods that were packed by our crew. We do not accept liability for damage to goods packed by the customer prior to our arrival, or for items not declared during the survey.

For high-value items such as antiques, artwork, jewellery, electronics or documents, we recommend separate insurance coverage. We do not carry insurance for the goods in transit as part of the standard service charge.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled move date will receive a full refund of any advance paid. Cancellations within 48 hours may attract a partial charge for crew and vehicle allocation. Rescheduling requests made at least 24 hours in advance will be accommodated subject to availability.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control — including but not limited to extreme weather, road blockages, government orders, natural disasters, or vehicle breakdowns in transit. In such cases, we will communicate proactively and reschedule at the earliest available date.

Prohibited Items

We do not transport hazardous materials, flammable liquids, illegal substances, perishable food, live animals, or currency. Any undeclared prohibited items found during packing may result in cancellation of the move without refund.

Disputes

Any disputes arising from services provided by PN Writers / Writer Relocations will first be addressed through direct communication with the branch concerned. If unresolved, disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in the city where the relevant branch is located.
